About RH Metal Concepts

Richard spent his early years as a heavy diesel mechanic, working on buses and trucks around Australia and in the UK. Over that time he developed a keen interest in using old bus parts to create sculptures, bbqs and fire pits.

It was only a matter of time before he combined his technical skills with his love of art to create a niche business, producing some truly amazing pieces of art.

The story

In 2015 Richard began making custom machinery parts, and other bits and bobs used in heavy diesel equipment. But it was the love of art that drove the creation of RH Metal Concepts, in the beginning custom making garden sculptures and firepits.

This soon developed into custom signs, garden art and variety of other pieces. So with a car boot full of metal art, RH Metal Concepts went on the road to markets around NSW.

Now with two retro caravans converted into funky mobile showrooms, and over 150 unique designs, RH Metal Concepts attends a number of local markets and is stalwart at the Moruya and Husskison markets in NSW and the Queanbeyan and Old Bus Depot Markets in ACT.
